Luke is an author and the Lead Pastor of Quay Church in Orlando, Florida. Luke has a passion for preaching and living a bold and courageous life for the message of Jesus.
Upon graduating from Texas A&M, Luke has been a part of launching and leading a church plant, discipleship and young adult ministries. His first book, Your Mess Matters, has helped thousands of families and individuals who are struggling with feeling lonely and less than in the midst of the messiest moments in life.
Luke and his wife, Lindsey, reside in Orlando, Florida along with their sons, Judah and Elijah, living on mission and building the kingdom through their church and community at Quay Church.

Every week, I spend hours reading, studying, writing, and preparing to preach. Along the way, I find myself wrestling with questions about culture, leadership, relationships, discipleship, and what it means to faithfully follow Jesus in a rapidly changing world. Many of those ideas make their way into a sermon. Many more never do.
Entering En Gedi is where those conversations continue.

Other times I’ll write about a leadership lesson, a cultural observation, or simply something I’ve been thinking through over a good cup of coffee.

Luke is the lead pastor at Quay Church, located in Orlando, Florida.
A quay /kē/ is a concrete, stone or metal platform that’s lying alongside of or projecting into the water for the loading and unloading of ships.
When ships have been navigating difficult seas, they will sail into a harbor and land at a quay. It is at a quay where you can offload old cargo and crew, and onboard new cargo and crew. Not just to stay there, but to sail back out with new mission, vision, and purpose. At Quay Church, Jesus Christ is the quay.
